Links What Go To Places That Aren’t Here

Blogcritics.orgThe second best web-site on the web-net, just
after this one here.

Generic Mugwump - Holy shit! Sir Fleming, Delegate Of Mondo
Irlando, branches out in a solo manner, by way of this glorious
hive of Faheyist wonder. Go see, pay homage and the like!

The Mondo Project - Come join us, and debate the culture!

Kirsten-Dunst.org - The best site about Kirsten Dunst, except for
the stuff about Her on here. Sometimes you'll find
The Duke in the
forums, is what, waxing awe-struck and such. Great video section,
too.

Virtual Dali - There are some wonderful sites devoted to this
fabulous old fucker on the web-net, but this is The Duke's
personal favourite, being a virtual romp through every painting
the man ever painted. Glorious.

Blast Your Podcast - Brand new Podcast site that's a lot more
personal than your average directory. It even has an interview
with yours truly. A fucking great site, and one to watch.

Make Poverty History - Do something worthwhile for a fuckin
change. Also, you can fling an email to Tony Blair. Did Bono teach
you nothing? He died for your sinful guts, and still you act like
Bono did nothing ever once.

The GuardianGo along to the “film” section, and under “sites we
like” you’ll see you can submit sites you, too, are fond of. I’m
sure you’re fond enough of Mondo Irlando for to submit it. That’s
just my guessing on the topic.

Beast MagazineThis isn’t going anymore, but you can still
download all the old issues. What it is, is either very
pretentious or very original, or both, most likely. Have a look.
Very bizarre.

The Fortean TimesThis is one of The Duke’s favourite magazines,
being all about the weirdness and the paranormal and so on, but
it's very informative and funny. The online version has cool
articles and such from the archives. Well worth a visit. The stuff
on Stigmata is great. As in the condition, and not the fucking
wretched flick about “Satan”.

SnopesThe Urban Legends Resource Page – Filled with all manner
of cool nonsense.

The WildheartsIf you read The Duke’s Interview With Ginger,
then you’ll wanna be checking out all about these brilliant
sonsabitches. Go see.

Friends Of The Duke

Swing Batter Batter! - I've done you fine folks a disservice, on
account of I thought I had linked this, and then it turns out I
hadn't. Hopefully you've got your ear to the ground well-enough
that you know all about Greg Smyth and his fucking fantastic music
reviews and other musings and so on. Read him now, before the
Music Press snap him up and you have to pay for it.

Dumpster Bust - Eric Berlin's fantastic blog concerning the
popular culture. Regularly posts stuff from his days as a fanzine
scribbler too. Excellent, is what. Also, he's doing Podcasts now,
and his accent's much better than mine.

Mat Brewster - Mat's currently galivanting round Europe, and the
result is that his blog-type affair is filled with great travel
tales and some wonderful photography.

Vermont Space - If anyone knows more about NASA than this fella,
being our wonderful Bennett, being among the nicest folks ever to
yack about space-travel, then not only have I never met them, but
also, they're probably communist Taliban spies workin for The CIA.

Percy’s Depressed - What this is, is Queenie’s house of
brilliantly observed ranting, related by The Narrator, and also
featuring plenty of talk regarding our Percy, a clinically fucked-
off toucan, and not a parrot as I would have had you believe once
upon a motherfuck. We like Queenie very much around these parts.

Mark Is Cranky - Mark Saleski is one of my favourite music
writers, man, no doubt about it. For sure, half the stuff he waxes
about don’t necessarily appeal to my tastes, but he makes it sound
INCREDIBLE most of the damn time.

Miss Templeton - Miss Templeton's blog concerns plenty about
Horslips and various slabs of Irish music, and also stuff
concerning Irish culture and general, and now and again, you might
find some shenanigans relating to
The Duke.

The Between - A site run by a charming young fellow by the name of
Joel Caris. Sometimes he'll go into an impassioned debate, other
times he'll wax random about whatever has taken his fancy of late.
Highly entertaining.

Soulfish StewWally Bangs from Tennessee waxes cultural and
personal
.

Ways Of Seeing - Yoel Meranda's beautiful slab of web dealing with
the films and the music and the glorious writings.

Aaman LambaAnother reason why Wisconsin rules. Dig Aaman’s
musings, would you ever?

Lono, at I Am CorrectMore about me, less about you, says the
heading. And it’s true. Go check it out.

Temple StarkThis esteemed gentleman recently posted a highly
amusing chin-wag with none other than Lemmy, singer of Motorhead
and star of
Tromeo And Juliet. He was in Citizen Toxie for a
moment, too
.

The Beautiful Lull Personal banter and great cultural analysis
and such from Tom Johnson. Go see.

If I’ve forgotten anything
, LET ME KNOW

Thanks folks.
