| The Introductory Waffle You know how it is, man. There you are, up to the nuts in the guts of the day-to-day life and so on, barely time for to blink an eye let alone blink both at the same time, or just one in the direction of an attractive lady. Chicks dig twitchin’. The last thing you need is for a flurry of melodies and tunes to be grabbed from somewheres amidst the skull-sauce and dragged out a fellas face, with no sleep on the cards till they get etched in MP3. That kinda shit there is just what happened, man. Last week a young lass went ahead and inadvertently inspired no end of wittering, wailing and wah-wah-wah-ing. For her troubles, she gets lumbered with being the subject matter of about 98% of this here 10-track net record which for the first time in the whole history of my wailing in G is available both here and over at Blogcritics.org. Incidentally, the other 2% concerns the devil and sleeping tablets and The Ex. What I’ll say is that this has maybe more “tunes” in the traditional sense than usual (it's the sixth net-record, incidentally), and it’s a lot more playful, although if you thought something along the lines of “Thank fuck, maybe he’ll quit yacking about His Baby Done Him Bad” then think the hell again. There’s a fair share of moaning in there too. A multitude of moans. So it’s the longest one yet, and the most diverse from some sort of musical perspective, in that there’s maybe four more melodies than usual. And it’s also the first one to have an official dedication, hence the line “For Sinéad” which you’ll see if you go back about eight words or thereabouts. It's the bit in white. Most of it’s self-explanatory, although I’d be struck with lightening from now till shortly afterwards when my guts would fry, were I not to mention that the verses of Chicks Dig Whinin’ are set to the tune of Jesus Loves Me, This I Know.
